hd quake...

so i got hd quake, and i can tell you it will eat your computer alive. with all lighting and effects on, i was averaging 20m fps. ugh.

ok.my computer has problems running some hardcore ds roms. Will it be able to play it?

probably not. but dont fear, i put together my own hd quake. it is a bit less flattering, but it still looks great, and it also runs much better
it has the following features:

-new hud
-new enemy skins
-new effects
-hd map textures
-new weapon models
-new ammo,heath, powerup models
-------------------------------------------

i plan to package it all together and put it on a file sharing website for you all to download.

btw,mac, what are your comp specs? if you tell me i could give you a more specific answer.

500 gb hard drive, 3 USB ports, but only 1 is working, 4 gb DDR3, AMD A6 4400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.7 GHz, windows 8 64 bit

also, if someone could tell me why only 1 of my usb ports are working, that would be a big help

with these specs i mind, you can run this stuff, but not at 100%. it would run good at 60-75% effects enabled.
